Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to use of Imperial County Busted Mugshots and its links to jail, booking, court, state, federal, and immigration resources. Using the site means accepting these conditions. Stop using it if you do not agree.

This is a privately owned reference service with no affiliation to Imperial County, any sheriff, jail, court, or corrections agency. It is not a private investigation firm or a consumer reporting agency. Neither it nor its advertising partners offers a service for decisions regulated by the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

Nature of the Service

The site helps visitors locate official Imperial County jail and record resources and may connect them with outside research tools. It stores no official booking, custody, or court records. It cannot confirm custody, release a person, post bond, submit an agency request, or file a court document.

Acceptable Use Rules

Visitors agree to use the service lawfully and with respect for others.

  • Do not violate any local, state, or federal law.
  • Do not stalk, threaten, harass, shame, or harm another person.
  • Do not use content for hiring, housing, lending, insurance, or another regulated eligibility decision.
  • Do not attempt to enter accounts, servers, or systems without permission.
  • Do not scrape the service or run automated bots against it.
  • Do not interfere with availability or another visitor's use.

No FCRA Consumer Reports

Imperial County Busted Mugshots is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not prepare credit reports, background checks, or consumer reports. Site information and partner results may not be used to decide employment, termination, tenancy, housing, creditworthiness, insurance premiums, licenses, government benefits, or any other matter covered by the FCRA.

Links to Other Services

Links lead to resources such as the Imperial County Jail page, Sheriff's Records Division, Imperial Superior Court, the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, federal or ICE locators, legal information, news outlets, and outside search providers. A link does not endorse the destination. This site does not control an outside service's content, privacy practices, accuracy, price, or availability. Review that service's own terms before using it.

No Warranties

The service and all content are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent the law permits, there is no warranty that information is accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that a partner search will find every record. Custody and case status can change fast. Nothing shown here is an official statement from the Imperial County Sheriff's Office or another public agency.

Limits on Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the site, its owners, contributors, and partners are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from access, inability to access, reliance on content, outside links, or partner tools.

Indemnification

A visitor agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold the site and its operators harmless from claims, loss, liability, and reasonable legal fees caused by that visitor's use, misuse, violation of these terms, or infringement of another person's rights.

Intellectual Property

Original text, graphics, logos, arrangement, and code belong to Imperial County Busted Mugshots or the relevant content partner. They may not be copied, redistributed, republished, or modified without written permission, except where applicable law permits.

Updates to These Terms

These terms may change at any time. A revision takes effect when posted. Continued use after publication means the revised terms govern later activity.

Suspension of Access

Access may be limited, suspended, or ended without notice when needed to protect the service, enforce these terms, respond to misuse, or for another lawful reason.

California Law Controls

California law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute must be filed in a court with proper jurisdiction in California.

Severability

If a court finds one term invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms continue in effect. The affected term will be narrowed only as much as needed to make it enforceable.
